Government employees nationwide can expect a financial boost this November as the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) confirms the release of year-end bonuses and cash gifts.
According to DBM guidelines, all qualified personnel in national government agencies, state universities and colleges, and government-owned or controlled corporations will receive their year-end bonus equivalent to one month’s basic salary, along with a ₱5,000 cash gift.

The bonuses are scheduled to be released starting November 15, ensuring employees have additional funds in time for the holiday season. This initiative is part of the government’s annual tradition to reward public servants for their hard work throughout the year.

Eligible recipients include:
-
Regular, contractual, and casual government employees who have rendered at least a total of four months of service from January 1 to October 31, 2025.
-
Personnel still in government service as of October 31, 2025.
Coverage
The year-end bonus and cash gift apply to those in:
-
Executive departments
-
Local government units (LGUs)
-
Government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs)

The DBM emphasized that this annual incentive aims to motivate public workers and help them manage expenses during the Christmas season. The release also stimulates local spending and supports economic activity across the country.

This move underscores the government’s recognition of public service and its effort to provide timely financial assistance before year-end festivities.
